Kochouseph Tims Pothen specialises in Fintech Law, Virtual Asset Law (Crypto), Company Law, and Private Client practice in the United Arab Emirates. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Christ University.
Kochouseph has worked with some of the biggest luminaries in the Indian Judicial fraternity. He has had the honour to work as a Judicial Clerk with Justice K.M. Joseph of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. At the Supreme Court of India, Kochouseph witnessed the proceedings of numerous landmark cases such as the Vodafone Mobile Services Ltd. vs Union of India (AGR Dues Case), Yashwant Sinha vs Central Bureau of Investigation (Rafale Jet Case) & Indian Young Lawyers Association vs. State of Kerala (Sabarimala case).
He has also had the opportunity to work with the former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi and Former Additional Solicitor General of India, Pinky Anand, at the Supreme Court of India.
Kochouseph primarily handles the incorporation of Companies at the firm, his work enables him to closely work with the Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) in Dubai and multiple Freezone authorities across the UAE.
His areas of interest range across Cryptocurrencies, web3, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Metaverse, Private Client practise and Company Incorporation.
